Flash Animation |
| Over the course of the last 5 years, you’ve
probably noticed Flash
animation almost everywhere on the web. Occasionally, it’s used
with tact and it communicates more information to the client than would
have been achieved without it. However, more often than not Flash is used
gratuitously and offers very little to a site’s design or the premise
of communicating relevant information to the end user.
Flash applications that demonstrate the differences or similarities between two subjects often add much-needed explanation and functionality. So do animations that can show the user a 360 degree view of the product. However, forcing your audience to sit through a long Flash animation that relays little information can be a burden rather than an aid. E Web Weaving designs flash animations

Flash in the functionality, we make it easy enough for an end user to
understand. If the animation is meant to serve as an informational tour,
then it doesn’t dominate the page’s space. There are many
